Dolly was a tough cookie growing up. Especially with me, since we had this sister relationship. I would annoy her on purpose and she would annoy me on purpose. She didn’t really let me pet her most times because she saw me as another puppy. But one day when I was pretty young, around Thanksgiving, I decided I was going to be a dog for the day. While the family prepared the food all day, I stayed on the floor with Dolly and followed her everywhere she went. At first, she was annoyed that I was copying her, but eventually throughout the day she started to enjoy my company. Even so much she gave me kisses! This was abnormal for her back then since we were always in a constant feud because she would always eat my barbie dolls and rip the heads off my stuffed animals. Anyway, this was the beginning of our longer friendship and understanding for each other. We weren’t so bad after all.
