July 27, 2008 — November 18, 2020

We brought little Queenie home at 4 weeks on a Sunday afternoon in August 2008. Since then she lived a long life with us being our sassy but loving house cat. She loved to sniff and play in plastic bags, playing with the Christmas tree and their ornaments, and she also loved sneakers. After the passing of our beloved father and husband Earnest Sr., Queenie began to sleep at the foot of bed in his memory, and the smell of men’s cologne brought her comfort. Her favorite activity was taking long cat naps, gazing outside from the window, following her pet mom Alicia around the house, and doing things HER way. With a name like Queenie, she sure lived up to it and fulfilled her purpose of being the little feline queen of house.
Queenie departed from us in the early morning of November 18, 2020, just seven days after the anniversary of Earnest Sr.’s passing in 2008. We are comforted to know she is no longer in pain, and is at peace in the heavens in his company. We will miss her feisty but loving personality, for she is irreplaceable. Sleep in peace Queenie!
