Sculley, my Sculley, a love that ran deep,
A bond so strong, forever to keep.
With a heart so pure, and a purr so loud,
In your presence, true happiness was found.
From kitten days, so tiny and small,
You grew with love, and touched us all.
Ten years of joy, you journeyed by my side,
Through highs and lows, you never did hide.
A runt turned to warrior, with spirit so true,
Traveling the world, always anew.
Dorm room beginnings, Columbus and more,
Your paws left prints on every floor.
Indiana’s embrace, Texas, and beyond,
With you by my side, the bond was strong.
In crates we ventured, through skies and lands,
You showed us all, life’s golden strands.
Jersey joined our tale, a new chapter to unfold,
Your spirit, unbroken, your heart made of gold.
Through highways we journeyed, to the Garden State fair,
Together we faced life, a courageous pair.
Adaptable soul, with a heart so wide,
You charmed every place, filled us with pride.
Car rides and cuddles, your presence so dear,
A constant companion, wiping every tear.
You’d answer my call, drop toys at my feet,
Playful and loyal, a bond oh so sweet.
Wrestling with Mulder, those antics so true,
In laughter and joy, my heart found its cue.
But now you’re not here, gone too soon,
Leaving us with memories, like stars and moon.
A life well-lived, filled with laughter and cheer,
In our hearts, you’re eternally near.
Sculley, sweet Sculley, you impacted my soul,
A friend and a confidant, making me whole.
In grief, I mourn, your absence profound,
Yet your love and light forever abound.
You touched my life in ways untold,
A furry companion, a heart made of gold.
Rest in peace, dear Sculley, forever my friend,
Our journey together, it never shall end.
