My Baby Binky, you will always be missed.
In 2018, I rescued Binky — but the truth is, she rescued me too.
She was terrified when she first came home, so broken by whatever life had thrown at her that she hid under my bed for almost a year. I would sit quietly on the floor, just letting her know she wasn’t alone. Day by day, she began to trust again. Day by day, she chose to stay.
Today, my world is quieter, emptier without her.
But Binky’s love — the stubborn, brave, beautiful love she gave me — will stay with me for the rest of my life.
She taught me that healing is slow, but it’s real. That love is earned. That some bonds never break, even when a heart does.
Rest easy now, my sweet baby Binky. You were safe. You were loved. You were everything.
