You gave me 14 beautiful years. Every single day, you were my puppy—no matter how much time passed. Even today, as I watched you close your eyes and kissed you goodbye for the last time, you were still my baby.
I don’t know how I would have made it through the last eight years without you. You were my comfort, my joy, my constant. I knew this moment would come—but I also knew you wouldn’t leave me until you knew I was safe and happy.
I thank God every day for the blessing of having you in my life.
Rest in peace, my beautiful girl. I’ll love you forever.
