Ali

“Every pet’s story begins with smiles and ends with tears.”

We are heartbroken to have lost Ali, our smart-smart-smart-good-good-good-pretty-pretty-pretty cat, last night. To borrow a quote, “In a world of good cats, she was the best.” Ali was 19, yet she is gone from us too soon.

Ali loved water, mats, her blue hutch, sunspots on the porch, and “peep-and-purr time” under a blanket. She wore a Libre sensor to help monitor her blood glucose and was always excited to hear Alexa announce it was time for a scan, as that meant a treat for her. She would often “meow louder for Chowder,” but never allowed us to become complacent with our menu, and we thank her for keeping us at the top of our game in that regard.

A super-senior (92 people years!), Ali never stopped having new adventures. In her last decade, she gained social media fame through her vet’s Facebook page, serving as a Libre ambassador and helping many fellow cats stay hydrated by recommending THE best water fountain. And her hunting prowess never waned; just a few short weeks before she crossed the rainbow bridge, she hunted and ate an entire mouse. (Bucket list item – crossed off!)

See you later, Cooper. We love you and will always miss you.
