December 15, 2009 — July 20, 2026

On Monday, July 20, 2026, Boost, our beloved Border Collie/German Shepard mix, passed peacefully at the age of 16 1/2. Boost’s dad brought him home when he was just a pup. He was only supposed to stay for a night, because his grandma was not fond of dogs. That night, Boost spent the entire night at his grandma’s feet and with his beautiful kind eyes and by showing her that he instinctively knew to walk to the door and go outside to potty, he was able to convince his grandma that he was a keeper. Boost was smart and an active member of our family. He loved long daily walks with his grandpa and enjoyed stopping at our neighbor’s house for a quick treat. In his youth, he loved running and jumping to catch his orange Frisbee in the backyard, he spent countless hours playing “Catch the Frisbee” with his dad and uncle. He was a healer, he knew whenever anyone in the family was having a bad or emotional day, he would quickly come over and gently cover us with his kisses or roll over so we could rub his belly. He adored his aunt who loved and cared for him when grandma and grandpa were away. He was loved immensely and will be missed eternally. Our hearts will never be the same. Boost, thank you for being a part of our family and teaching us how to love one another.
