Juggernaut or as most people knew him, Juggs, was a very affectionate and chatty boy. It wasn’t unusual to see him gargoyle-ing on the arm of the couch or flopping on the floor in front of your feet. He always wanted to be with you and get as much love as possible.
Juggs liked the rough pets so he could really feel the attention. He loved his binky bird and trying to get under the covers. Most mornings he could be found snuggled up with his mom, head on her pillow, and petting her face just like he wanted to be pet. When dad would come home from work Juggs was quick to make biscuits on his belly and tell him about his day with his brother Raphael.
Juggernaut passed away due to complications from his cancer diagnosis. But through it all he remained the same sweet boy we all got to know and love. Even on the worst days he would purr as soon we made eye contact with him.
Those who were blessed to have him sit in their lap knew the weight he carried both physically and emotionally. He would comfort you in sadness. And sing when we were happy (or cooking dinner).
We love him so much and we greatly miss his presence in our home.
There’s just something about black cat personality that’s special. They love to perch, purr loudly, make biscuits, and sing us the songs of their people. I want you two to remember that if you feel a weight on you in bed, or you think you feel a paw step on a pillow, or if you’re wondering what just bumped your arm on the couch it’s him. He sounds lovely and silly and I can’t imagine the heartbreak his loss has left. But the cool thing is that he’s still there, he just doesn’t know how to affect the human world again yet. He’ll learn. ❤️

Juggs’ personality was even bigger than he was. Such an extraordinary fella who brought so much warmth and light into the room as black cats of his exceptional quality ironically do. Run, jump, climb, and hunt to your hearts content now big guy. Sending peace and warm thoughts to your people for you.

Deepest condolences for your loss. What a good an gorgeous boy, and a fitting tribute for him. Sharing a poem that brings me comfort when I’m missing mine:
Eyes bright,
claws sharp,
tail held high.
Go keenly into the mist, old warrior.
Valhalla waits for you
