Mara was the runt of her litter and the only kitten to survive. She weighed at most 5 pounds and a few ounces. She had the heart of a mountain lion and never took crap from anyone (or other kitties). She loved my son the most. He was 3 when she was born. A memory of her is on Halloween my son would put on his costume and I would dress as a witch and Mara was my little familiar. She was the cutest little baby! She was truly a warrior cat. She fought hard until the end. One day I hope they find a cure for cancer. I was blessed to have her for 20 years. Although I wish I had many more years with her. She would sleep on my chest. Purring and content.
