Nixie, our petite queen of sass and sunshine, left pawprints on our hearts before journeying to the Rainbow Bridge. For 14 radiant years, her tiny frame housed a universe of charm, mischief, and unyielding spirit.
She greeted life with a symphony of meows, chirps, and trills—never shy, always certain her voice deserved center stage. Balls became her obsession, rolling triggers for her legendary “zoomies,” where she’d race through rooms like a comet, leaving laughter in her wake. Her devotion to ham, bacon, and chicken was unmatched; she’d fix her gaze with regal intensity until a morsel found its way to her bowl.
Nixie’s absence echoes in sunbeams she no longer claims, in quiet corners where her chatter once hummed. Yet her spirit lingers—in memories of headbutts at dawn, stolen naps in laundry piles, and the way she turned ordinary moments into magic.
To our family, she was more than a cat. She was joy incarnate, a teacher of patience, and a reminder that love thrives in the smallest packages. Rest sweetly, dear Nixie. Chase eternal balls in fields of gold, feast on heavenly bacon, and keep the stars company until we meet again.
Forever loved. Forever missed.
“Until the Bridge.”
