Ruby

March 28, 2009  —  December 15, 2023

This beautiful malnourished dog found at the Tobyhanna PA Train Station 3/29/2010 by AWSOM, given the name Ruby, listed on Pet Finder, and finally able for us to adopt a month later would be an awesome dog for us. She quickly adopted her new home, claiming a particular couch, diligently guarding our home and alerting us to deliveries. Her affection was through kisses, and her dance moves while getting her butt scratched. She loved being outdoors, racing the UPS truck behind her electric fence, and just hanging out, scouting all that was happening. Everyone passing got to know Ruby. She loved walks with her dad (Stephen) on Randolph trails, and mom’s (Marianne) home cooking. Ruby was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer in August 2021. We opted for a holistic immune regiment from Vitality Science. Ruby had an additional 2.5 years of quality life until a few days before passing. It hurt so much to say goodbye, but through our Faith we know we will see her again, that she is like a puppy again on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge, where she will get to know our other beloved dog Abby. Our family was so Blessed to have you as a part of our lives.

A beautiful obituary for a beloved member of your family. Rest in peace, dear Ruby.
