Sidney

Our sweet boy Sidney passed peacefully at home on February 1, 2025, in the presence of his adoring mom and dad to cross the Rainbow Bridge and join his brothers, Jake, Rudy, Brinkley and sister, Allie.

Affectionally also known as “Sidney bear” and, more commonly, “Mr. Bear,” Sidney adopted us when we moved into the home in 2012. Each day thereafter, he provided daily laughter and joy through his abundance of personality and craving for attention. He was known to love his cat treats, for gentle and affectionate tags on your ankle when you passed by him and getting pets from his loving mom and dad. He also loved playing with his abundance of cat toys that his mommy couldn’t stop herself from buying for him, which littered the floors of our home, and napping in his favorite bed in his room.

Rest now sweet boy. Your loss to us is profound and immeasurable but we are comforted with the knowledge that you are now at peace. Play for eternity with your brothers and sister, eat all the treats you can consume, and nap in the warmth glow of the sun. Until we meet again on the other side of “the bridge.”
