Teagan, my sweet girl and loyal shadow, passed away unexpectedly yesterday after 13 incredible years by my side. From the moment she came into my life, she never left it—always underfoot, always close, always ready with love.
She had the kindest heart, greeting everyone she met with a wagging tail and warm eyes. Her favorite things in the world were belly rubs, peanut butter treats, and rolling in the grass on a sunny day. She never missed a chance for a snack—and always tried to sneak in kisses right after, peanut butter breath and all.
Teagan wasn’t just a dog—she was home. My steady comfort, my quiet companion, my joy. She curled up beside me through heartaches and celebrations, teaching me what unconditional love truly looks like.
Though my house feels quieter now, my heart will always echo with her soft snores, her happy tail thumps, and the sound of her paws following close behind.
