It is with heavy hearts that we share that West, our beloved 10 yr old Pekingese, passed away on December 12, 2024. For 10 years, West was a cherished companion and member of the family. His affectionate, playful, and feisty personality was paired with an intense love for napping and eating, some of his favorite foods being ice cream and steak. West’s favorite activities included watching TV and lounging around on the porch during the warmer seasons. Even when he eventually lost the ability to walk, West continued to enjoy life and be a source of light for his family. To West, we hope you know how deeply loved and missed you are. We hope you are finally at peace now.

Thank you West for all the love and joy you gave to all of us. I will surely miss our daily walks in the park; forcing me to give my dinner to you with your stares and barking; and keeping me company in the living room. We love you so much. Missing you so much too.
